The Dan Tian Club Sanda returns from Rome with three medals

SIENA. Great success for the Dan Tian Club Sanda Fight Team at the Opes UIKT Sanda Sanshou National Championship, held this weekend in Rome, at the Green Sport Arena.

The matches were particularly demanding but in the ring, the Sienese fighters trained by Mirko Spigariol gave great proof of their courage and ability, climbing 3 times on the podium: gold for Jacopo Ricci, silver for Christian Spigariol and bronze for Emilio Sconoroso, who had to stop the competition with a knee injury on the second round.

Sanda, also known as “Chinese boxing”, is an oriental martial art that involves, in addition to the traditional blows with the arms, also the use of the legs and throws.
