The data for Monday 29 November. The positivity rate rises to 2.9% with 276,000 swabs. Admissions: +171. Intensive care: +31
I am 7.975
the new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday there were 12,932, here the bulletin). It goes up like this at least 5.015.790
the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 65
(yesterday there were 47), for a total of 133,739 victims from February 2020.
People recovered or discharged they are altogether 4.692.408 e 4.707 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (yesterday 5,383). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 189.643, equal to +3.200 compared to yesterday (+7,497 the day before).
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 276.000, or 236,592 less than yesterday when it was 512,592. While the positivity rate rises to 2.9% (the approximation of 2.889%); yesterday it was 2.5%. Here is the map of the contagion in Italy.
Less infections in 24 hours than yesterday. It happens every Monday due to fewer swabs (they are those processed on Sunday, half the day before), with a consequent increase in the case-to-test ratio (this also happens every Monday). Thus, as usual, the curve touches the lowest point of its weekly swing. The trend remains on the rise and can be seen from the comparison with last Monday (November 22) – the same day of the week – when they were recorded +6,404 almost with a positive rate of 2.3%: today, in fact, there are more new infections than that day, with a higher percentage (2.9% versus 2.3%).
The health system
The increase in hospitalizations continues in every area. The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I’m +171 (yesterday +138), for a total of 5,135 hospitalized. The beds occupied in intensive care (TI) are +31 (yesterday +14) – this is the balance between the people who left and those who entered ICU -, bringing the total of the most seriously ill patients to 669, with 58 admissions to resuscitation (yesterday 39).
