Alessia Cappello’s statement on the Christmas lights in Milan
The councilor for economic development, Alessia Cappello, said: “We are delighted with this extraordinary result. The projects reward a city that is experiencing a period of recovery in every sector, starting with the economy, with attention to respect for the rules but with great commitment. Thanks to a fruitful and renewed collaboration between public and private sectors, we have managed to give Milan the image of the past and overcome it since we will have more illuminated streets and in more areas of the city. It is a message of beauty and hope that we want to send to everyone. Now we hope that citizens and visitors will seize the opportunity to experience and give impetus to the commercial activities of even the small shops that animate the neighborhoods and which have suffered the most in this last year. I thank all the sponsors who participated in the tender by investing in our city “.
