Weather alert, schools closed in the Neapolitan area on November 27th

Schools, parks and gardens closed in Casoria on Saturday 27 November due to the orange weather alert issued by the Civil Protection. “It is recommended to go out only when necessary,” writes the mayor Raffaele Bene in a note.

The Civil Protection of the Campania Region has issued a new weather alert notice for rains and thunderstorms which extends and extends the one currently in force at the Orange level from 6 pm today, Friday 26 November, until 6 pm tomorrow, Saturday 27 November.

Strong south-western winds with possible gusts in thunderstorms. Agitated sea with possible storm surges along the exposed coasts”. Even strong thunderstorms that could give rise to widespread hydrogeological instability also with slope instability, even deep, landslides and rapid mudslides.

– Yellow alert on the rest of Campania where scattered rainfall, showers and thunderstorms, even intense, associated with gusts of wind are expected.

We remind you that an Orange weather alert is already in place in Campania on zone 3 (Sorrento-Amalfi Peninsula, Monti di Sarno and Monti Picentini) and Yellow on the remaining part of Campania.
