Milan, 26 Nov. (Adnkronos / Labitalia) – The 97th National Assembly of Manageritalia opened today in Milan, a federation that brings together 38 thousand managers in a professional and cultural network that offers institutional and contractual representation, enhancement and protection towards politics, institutions and society, services for the profession and the family. The 2021 edition of the two days of Manageritalia, which sees the participation of 250 managers, focuses on the issues that today most characterize the country’s economic and social horizon: the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, collaboration between institutions and the world management and implementation of reforms (social security, tax and justice). According to Mario Mantovani, president of Manageritalia, there is only one recipe to overcome these challenges: competence, method and vision. “All ingredients – explains Mantovani – that managers are ready to make available to institutions and the public administration. We must face the future with courage and make the most of the PNRR opportunity. Indeed, it is a great opportunity that we must not take for granted. The National Recovery and Resilience Plan must be a driving force capable of attracting other investments “.” Only in this way – continues the president of Manageritalia – could we radically change the structure of part of our economy, which should instead look courageously at innovation and aim with strength on the transformation of SMEs and the tertiary sector to create value. As emerges from the analysis of our Observatory – concludes Mantovani – the resources of the NRP are unbalanced on the physical infrastructures, but the country needs to strengthen the tertiary sector to grow by focusing on the quality and quantity of jobs “. As underlined by President Mantovani, exclusive and forecast data processed by the Manageritalia Tertiary Observatory highlight a great potential for growth in the country: in the year of the pandemic, private executives increased, driven by the recruitment of women managers (+ 4.9% in 2020) and from 2022 to 2025 an economic growth of 8.1% is expected. This leap forward in the Italian economy will only be possible on condition that it focuses on high-value skills, structured companies, business and work, as underlined by Mario Mantovani, for which “growth can only be made structural and sustainable by putting center of skills and focusing on innovation and transformation of the business and work world, at an economic and regulatory level. The concrete collaboration and synergy between public and private sectors that includes the development of the South is increasingly fundamental ”. At the end of his speech, Mantovani offers a profound reflection on the theme of reforms, another focus of the 97th edition of the National Assembly of Manageritalia, and explains the reasons that lead him to believe that these are not real reforms but adjustments: “We have been talking about reforms for years but what we see and actually witness are only small corrections in progress. This is detrimental to the development of the country, because only by going to the bottom of the problems, and not bypassing them, can we hope to solve them “. During the first day of the Assembly, the messages of the Minister of Labor, Andrea Orlando, and the Minister of the South and of Territorial Cohesion, Mara Carfagna, arrived. Both reaffirmed their willingness to collaborate with Manageritalia managers in view of the new challenges in the field of work and the South.
