An order of the mayor of Monza, Dario Allevi, reintroduces mandatory outdoors dell’use of protective devices individual. The provision will concern the Old Town and will be in effect from November 27th to January 6th. “We need prudence not to frustrate the efforts made so far to contain the pandemic,” said the mayor.
Prudence and responsibility
“Contain the epidemic going through a ascent phase, do not undermine the efforts made so far to remain in the white zone and prevent the scenarios that are occurring in many European countries ”. Dario Allevi thus sets the goal with which he introduced the obligation to wear masks outdoors in the most crowded and popular places in the city.
“I decided it, in agreement with the Prefect Patrizia Palmisani and the local health authorities, out of a sense of responsibility – explains the Mayor – even if in our city many people spontaneously wear it even outdoors. We want to reinforce the message that the health emergency is not over yet: we must continue to follow the anti Covid measures to pass a peaceful Christmas with a confident view of 2022 ″.
