Three liters of Gbl, also known as ‘rape drug’, were seized by the Milan Mobile Squad in two different operations which led to the arrest of three Italians for drug dealing. In recent weeks the Narcotics investigators, directed by Marco Calì and led by Domenico Balsamo, have learned of two postal packages, probably containing drugs, destined for two men residing one in via Vitruvio and the other in via Pietro Crespi. The suspects are a 37 year old, a 28 year old, already arrested in August for a similar episode, for the first delivery and a 34 year old for the second.
The arrival of the first parcel, containing a one-liter bottle of GBL, was scheduled for November 10, but when the anti-drug police showed up for a ‘controlled delivery’ to the apartment in via Vitruvio they found no one. The investigators then managed to discover that the real recipient of the package was not the name indicated on the postal bill, perhaps non-existent, but probably another, residing in nearby Via Settala, who had invented the stratagem to not be identifiable. The parcel was seized. Two days ago, on November 24, the agents carried out a house search decree issued by the prosecutor’s office and arrested the 37-year-old, together with a 28-year-old present in the same house, for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, because they were found in possession of 8, About 1 grams of synthetic cathinones, and numerous packaging materials. The second shipment was also followed on the same day: the package was picked up by a man other than the recipient. Blocked by policemen just as he received the package, with two one-liter bottles of Gbl inside each, the 34-year-old was arrested after, during the search of his home, the policemen found and confiscated another 213 gross grams of synthetic cathinones (psychoactive substances that appear as white or brown powder), packaging material and the total sum of money equal to 3,450 euros.
