Where are we in relation to the yellow zone
According to the risk parameters set by the Covid decree law – to be clear, the one who extended the state of emergency until 31 December 2021 and introduced the obligation of a Green pass to enter indoor restaurants from 6 August -, the yellow zone clicks with an incidence of new positives per 100 thousand inhabitants exceeding 50. The figure for today, November 16, 2021, says that in Lombardy we are at 73.9.
On the other hand, the picture of admissions is different: the yellow zone is triggered with an occupation of beds of 10% for intensive care and 15% for medical areas. Lombardy today is far from those thresholds, but the 1% jump in a single day in the ordinary departments requires maintaining maximum attention.
