Weather: NEXT WEEK, from Monday Series of Crazy Cyclones over Italy, then the Great Cold at the end of NOVEMBER
Next week, a series of crazy cyclones over ItalyA series of crazy cyclones over Italy, endless bad weather. This is basically the judgment that emerges from the latest updates of the our official APP for the next week over a large part of our country.
But let’s go in order to better understand theexpected evolution using maps and then also tracing a more general trend for end of November since, we tell you immediately, some are expected cold news.
Next week will open in the sign of severe bad weather in the far south with the formation of the first cyclone on the Ionian Sea already from the first hours of Monday 15 November. Although very fast, this vortex will be able to unleash intense rainfall on Calabria, Basilicata and Puglia and unfortunately we cannot rule out the risk from storms and of alluvial phenomena that could be caused by the persistence of precipitation in the same areas.
From Tuesday 16 a second cyclone (the main depression center active on the Mediterranean), fed by unstable currents, it will deepen further on the Tyrrhenian Sea: the bad weather it could affect all regions of the Center-South and the two major islands, reiterating if at least until Thursday 18 November.
The Tyrrhenian sectors will be at greater risk where they are expected heavy rains e temporal accompanied by strong gusts of wind from the southern quadrants. In the meantime (again on Thursday 18), broadening our gaze to the European framework, we can see how the descent of unstable air from Northern Europe will prepare to give life to third cyclone of the week which will be positioned on the Ligurian Sea: the regions of the region will initially pay the price North, with intense showers and the return of the name on the Alps with flakes up to under 1500 meters of share. Subsequently, starting gives Friday 19th and for the following weekend, the bad weather will probably also hit the rest of the country, causing new rains and thunderstorms.
In short, there will be no peace for Italy.
COLD TURN – Our attention shifts tolast ten days of November. L’hypothesis, all to be confirmed, is that from Monday 22 a powerful cold bubble of arctic origin may first slide towards central Europe, and then also aim for Italy. If this were to be confirmed, it is reasonable to expect a vertical drop in temperatures with thermal values well below the climatic averages, in short, space for first real cold with winter characteristics.
This kind of setup is a lot favorable for snowfalls up to very low altitudes in the Center North, with the Alps and the Apennines that would be destined to fill up with snow, to the delight of many winter sports lovers.
There is still a little time left and as usual we invite caution, but the signals from the models are quite in agreement: the general Winter could roar ahead of time.
