There are 8,569 coronavirus infections in Italy today, 11 November 2021, according to data and numbers – region by region – from the Covid bulletin of Civil Protection and the Ministry of Health. There are another 67 deaths.
The new deaths bring the total number of victims since the beginning of the emergency to 132,618. In the last 24 hours, 595,812 swabs were performed, with a positivity rate of 1.43%.
There is an increase in the number of people hospitalized with symptoms, which are 3,509 (yesterday 3,447), with an increase of 62 compared to yesterday, while 422 are hospitalized in intensive care (-1 compared to yesterday), with 37 admissions in the last 24 hours . 4,595,897 people recovered (+4,569 from yesterday) and 106,920 currently positive (+ 4,061).
THE DATA OF THE REGIONS
LOMBARDY – There are 1,066 coronavirus infections in Lombardy today, 11 November 2021, according to Covid data from the region’s bulletin. Recorded 6 more deaths. The swabs carried out were 130,809, with a positivity index that drops to 0.8%. There are 34,216 victims since the beginning of the pandemic. 409 people are hospitalized in Lombard hospitals, 7 more than yesterday, and 45 in intensive care, 3 more.
There are 294 new positives recorded in the last 24 hours in the province of Milan, of which 133 in the city of Milan. In the province of Bergamo there are 66, in Brescia 134, in Como 79, in Cremona 40, in Lecco 24, in Lodi 20, in Mantua 47, in Monza and Brianza 106, in Pavia 41, in Sondrio 30 and in Varese 129.
EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 617 new coronavirus infections today 11 November 2021 in Emilia Romagna, according to data from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are another 7 deaths. Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, 437,457 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia Romagna. The 617 more than yesterday are out of a total of 30,198 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 2%. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. At 2 pm a total of 7,037,978 doses were administered; out of the total, 3,517,865 people have completed the vaccination cycle. Third doses made reached 240.151.
As for the total number of people healed, they are 264 more than yesterday and reach 414,444. The active cases, that is the actual patients, today are 9,369 (+346). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 8,966 (+334), 95.7% of the total number of active cases. In total, there have been 13,644 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. There are 40 patients admitted to intensive care (-1 compared to yesterday), 363 those in the other Covid departments (+13).
CAMPANIA – There are 956 new infections from Coronavirus today 11 November in Campania, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 6 deaths have been recorded, of which 3 in the last 48 hours and the others in the previous days. In the last 24 hours, 29,372 swabs were processed.
In Campania there are 17 Covid patients hospitalized in intensive care3 less than yesterday’s figure, and 290 Covid patients in hospital wards, 7 more than yesterday.
LAZIO – There are 894 new coronavirus infections today 11 November 2021 in Lazio, according to data from the latest Covid-19 bulletin of the Region. There are another 8 deaths. 344 cases in Rome. Today in Lazio “out of 14,662 molecular swabs and 22,894 antigenic swabs for a total of 37,556 swabs, there are 894 new positive cases (+98), 8 deaths (+3), 535 hospitalized (+14), 68 intensive care (+6) and +441 the healed. The ratio between positives and swabs is 2.3%. Cases in Rome city are at 344 “reports the councilor for Health and Social-Health Integration of the Lazio Region, Alessio D’Amato .

The bulletin also reports +81 currently positive, +82 in isolation, -1 hospitalized and, finally, stable intensive care (for a total of 9).
ABRUZZO – 145 (aged between 2 and 87 years) are the new coronavirus infections registered in Abruzzo today, 11 November, according to Covid data from the Region’s bulletin. The death toll of patients does not register any new cases and remains stable at 2566. The number of positive cases also includes 79074 discharged / recovered (+50 compared to yesterday).
Eighty-two patients (+1 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in the medical area; 6 (unchanged compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 2518 (+94 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. In the last 24 hours, 3793 molecular swabs were performed (1517376 in total since the start of the emergency) and 10592 antigen tests (1151060). The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 1%.
BASILICATA – There are 25 new cases of coronavirus infection in Basilicata today, 11 November, according to Covid data from the regional bulletin of the task force referring to the last 24 hours. 545 molecular swabs were performed, and no deaths were recorded. There are 19 recovered or negativized Lucanians. There are 25 (-1) hospitalized in the hospitals of Potenza and Matera, 1 of which in intensive care while the current positives residing in Basilicata are in all 914 (+4).
PUGLIA – There are 262 new coronavirus infections today 11 November in Puglia, according to data from the latest covid-19 bulletin. There are another 2 deaths. The new cases, identified out of 21,580 swabs carried out, are divided as follows by province: Bari: 64; Bat: 34; Brindisi: 21; Foggia: 39; Lecce: 41; Taranto: 60; Residents outside the region: 2; Province in definition: 1. There are 3,565 people currently positive, 155 those hospitalized in a non-critical area, 19 in intensive care. The overall data from the beginning of the pandemic: 275,150 cases, 4,399,207 tests performed, 264,727 people healed, 6,858 people who died.
TUSCANY – There are 509 new coronavirus infections today 11 November in Tuscany, according to data from the latest bulletin. There are 4 more deaths. In the region, therefore, the number of cases continues to increase in the face of a greater number of tests carried out. In fact, the new infections registered are 509 out of 36,741 tests of which 10,474 molecular swabs and 26,267 rapid tests. Yesterday there were 418 out of 26,625 tests. The rate of new positives drops slightly, which today stands at 1.39% (4.8% on the first diagnoses), while yesterday it was 1.57% (4.7% on the first diagnoses).
The new infections were confirmed 484 by molecular swab and 25 by rapid antigen tests, which bring the total to 293,343 since the beginning of the Coronavirus health emergency. New cases are 0.2% more than the previous day’s total. The healed grew by 0.1% and reached 279,043 (95.1% of total cases). On the other hand, 10,690 subjects were tested today (with antigenic and / or molecular swabs, excluding control swabs), of which 4.8% were positive. The currently positive are 6,980 today, + 2.5% compared to yesterday. There are 295 hospitalized (2 more than yesterday), of which 24 in intensive care (2 less). 4 new deaths were recorded: a man and 3 women with an average age of 79.5 years (1 in Florence, 1 in Massa Carrara, 1 in Siena, 1 in Grosseto).
VENETO – In Veneto today the ‘wall’ of 1,000 daily Covid infections has been overcome according to the numbers of the bulletin of 11 November. In fact, in the last 24 hours there have been 1,077 new cases, while there are also 5 victims in the last 24 hours, as reported by the region. Numbers that confirm the fourth wave in progress, and which have not been seen since last winter in the middle of the third wave.
The total of positives since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 488,269 and 14,224 are currently positives. While deaths from the beginning of the epidemic have reached 11,863. In first place for the number of infections is the province of Padua, with 241 cases, followed by Venice with 198, Verona with 190, Vicenza with 188, Treviso with 152, the contagion also rises in Rovigo, with 49 cases and Belluno, with 47. There are 269 patients admitted to non-critical areas of hospitals (+4), and 59 (+2) those in intensive care.

There are 19 people hospitalized in intensive care, while patients in other wards are 127. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,891 have died.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 120,887 people have been positive.
PIEDMONT – There are 374 new infections from Coronavirus today Thursday 11 November 2021, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. There have been 4 deaths since yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 58,391 swabs were processed, of which 52,189 were antigenic. In the last 24 hours 213 people have recovered. There are 23 hospitalized in intensive care, one less than yesterday. There are 243 inpatients not in intensive care, 17 more than yesterday. There are 5,036 people in home isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 11,843 people have died in the region.
