Coronavirus in Italy, the bulletin of Monday 8 November of the Ministry of Health: i new positives recorded in the last 24 hours are 4,197 out of 249,115 swabs (yesterday they were 5,822 out of 434,771 swabs). Today 38 have died (yesterday there were 26). With 2,727 discharged and recovered in addition the currently positive they are 98,775, 1,788 more than yesterday when there was an increase of 3,294 units.

The rate of positivity is today at 1.68% (yesterday it was 1.33%). The total number of coronavirus victims in our country since the beginning of the pandemic rises to 132.423​. If we look at the data from the same date a year ago, the comparison is merciless: on November 8, 2020, there were 32,616 new cases, with 331 deaths and a much greater number of currently positives, 558,636 (compared to less than 100 thousand of today).

Covid in Italy, the bulletin of 8 November

The total Covid-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic in Italy is therefore of 4.812.594, of which 132,423 dead and 4,581,396 discharged and healed, 2,727 in the last 24 hours. Currently positive patients are 98,775, yesterday they were 96,987, an increase of 1,788 units. The total (most antigenic molecular) swabs carried out today alone are 249,115 (yesterday they were 434,771). The total swabs carried out to date are 107,588,239, while the total number of people tested is 36,489,224.

Of the total of the positives are 94,998 those in home isolation (+1,618 compared to yesterday), 3,362 hospitalized with symptoms (+147), while the sick in intensive care there are 415 (+17 compared to yesterday). The entrances in intensive care are now 35 (+9 compared to yesterday).
