Starting from November 25th, five episodes on Youtube and Instagram: a mini-series to tell the activity of Atm from the inside, through the eyes and words of those who make Milan move every day: tram drivers, workshop managers and maintenance workers vehicles will guide the spectators in the five episodes of “Atm Uncovered”, online starting November 21 on the company’s Youtube and Instagram channels. An episode will be posted every Sunday at 6.30 pm until December 19th, while the countdown has already started on Instagram: backstage moments and short previews are shared with users on a daily basis.
During the various episodes – lasting about ten minutes each – Atm will ideally open the doors of its deposits, offering travelers the opportunity to take a look at moments of daily activity that usually remain closed to them. “The traditional event of the ‘Open Doors’ has always provided for the visit of a single company location – explain from Atm – Today, however, the places to be discovered will be many and to lead the spectators in the exploration will be the same people who with great commitment make the company move. city”.
The absolute protagonist of the first episode will be the most representative means of Atm, the tram: tram drivers, operating and maintenance managers will illustrate the world and the secrets of one of the Milanese symbols. November 28 will be the turn of a tour in the operating rooms, the “control rooms” in via Monte Rosa and Bignami, where the “conductors” will explain how they organize and coordinate the service of the entire network. The following week, on December 5th, we will focus on the maintenance aspect carried out in the Precotto, Molise and Teodosio workshops: here workers and managers will explain what interventions a subway train, a bus, a trolleybus need from time to time or a tram.
On 12 December space for nocturnal interventions: spectators will discover what happens after the end of the service, following the story of the company’s nocturnal world to discover the metropolitan galleries and beyond. The journey of “Atm Uncovered” will then end on Sunday 19 December with a focus on the green future of the company in the San Donato Milanese depot, which marks the first step towards environmental transition and the construction of a new, increasingly sustainable mobility.
