During preparations at the Trevi Fountain for the arrival of the G20 leaders, a seagull (eating a bird on the monument) was driven away with the hydrant. The area between via Nazionale, via del Tritone and via IV Novembre had been closed, made inaccessible to vehicles and people to ensure maximum safety in view of the arrival of the G20 leaders. The security officers never expected, however, to have to face an “enemy” who came from the sky during the very important two days: that of 30 and 31 October in Rome where the powerful winds raged.
