The Minister of Justice Marta Cartabia had sent the inspectors for checks and at the same time the CSM opened the disciplinary procedure. Giorgianni’s defense had tried to play the postponement card, attaching the request of the magistrate – who should retire in January – to bring forward the resting placement (although in an interview he said he was ready to resign).
