“The Prefect’s decree is coming to limit the demonstrations”

A prefectural decree is coming to limit the demonstrations in the squares: the mayor Dipiazza declares it to Telequattro, who turned to the Prefect Valerio Valenti to ask for an intervention in order to limit unrest and inconvenience during the protests. Dipiazza, with reference to the No Green Pass demonstrations in Piazza Unità, stated that “after the demonstrators left the area, Italspurghi had to clean the square from the rubbish left for hours and hours”, also claiming that “The people of Trieste, especially the traders, have begun to show some annoyance due to the continuous processions and demonstrations. They ask to be able to return to work with serenity and without the danger of a possible degeneration ”. Reflecting on the recent surge in infections in the city, the mayor concluded: “the crowd of non-green passes and no vaxes does not contribute to lowering the curve”.
