More and more experiments lead to the idea that in the universe there is a fifth fundamental force of nature, in addition to gravitational, electromagnetic, weak interaction and strong interaction.

This fifth “fundamental interaction” would also explain the copious presence of dark matter in the universe and how it may have survived during the Big Bang. Precisely for this reason physicists have always suspected that there is something else that we cannot see and understand around us.

Now new experiments made with the Large Hadron Collider, the particle accelerator at CERN in Geneva, are increasingly strengthening this idea, despite the fact that the data is not yet sufficient to pass peer review by the scientific community.

At the same time, however, other studies, such as that of the Belle 2 Experiment, in Japan, are approaching the same conclusions.

So if everything goes right in a few months we may have to rewrite modern physics, or at least add a fundamental piece to it.
