There are 79 new cases of Covid-19 in Umbria recorded in the last 24 hours: the update is at 9.41 on Saturday 23 October. The data relates to 10,601 swabs examined – 2,031 molecular swabs (total 1,171,488) and 8,570 antigenic swabs (total 931,269) -, for a positive percentage equal to 0.74% (Thursday 21 October it was 0.67% ). The healings found in the same period were 12 (total 62,390). There are no further deaths of people positive for the virus, for a total that remains of 1,461. Based on these numbers, the current virus positives in Umbria are 837 (+67). Since the beginning of the epidemic, 64,688 positivity (+79) have been found.

The hospitalizations

On Saturday morning the people affected by the virus admitted to Umbrian hospitals are 39 (-1) of which 5 (+1) in intensive care. Thus the individual hospitals: Terni 24 hospitalizations (-1) of which 3 (unchanged) in intensive care; Perugia 15 admissions (unchanged) of which 2 (+1) in intensive care. There are 798 people in default (+68).

Vaccinations

At 8.00 am on Saturday 23 October, 1,297,127 doses of vaccine were administered in Umbria (+1,030, compared to 1,296,097 at 8.00 am on Friday 22 October), equal to 88.28% of the available doses (1,469,324). Complete vaccination cycle for 663,460 people (+809), equal to 82.23% of the eligible population. First dose for 685,822 subjects (+262) equal to 84.97% of the entitled population.
