Paulownia tomentosa, named in honor of the daughter of Tsar Paul I, is located in Piazza Paolo VI, in Brera, has heart-shaped leaves and blooms in May and June, turning purple. It is encountered by advancing along Via dei Cavalieri del Santo Sepolcro, immediately after several plane trees, or rather Platanus x acerifolia, the most common plants in Milan.
