It is the ‘Villa Monica’ residential complex attributable to the ‘Casamonica’ in Centroni, now cleared by the carabinieri of the provincial command of Rome and the Prefecture, in via Caldopiano.
The assets were confiscated from Gelsomina Di Silvio (former cohabitant Ferruccio Casamonica), known as Silvana, and her 3 children Raffaele, Christian and Katiuscia Casamonica.
The residential complex in via Caldopiano, together with other significant assets (including several Ferraris), had been the subject of both a request for preventive measures in 2003 and seizure and subsequent confiscation as part of a criminal proceeding by the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office. . “The confiscation was ordered with a sentence of the Court of Appeal of Rome against Gelsomina Di Silvio, detained since 21 November 2018 for a cumulative sentence of 5 years, 11 months and 6 days”, explain the weapon.
Di Silvio, during her detention, was the recipient of the precautionary custody order issued also on 9 April 2019 by the Court of Rome, as part of the Gramigna investigation by the Carabinieri of the Frascati Investigative Unit, for which she was sentenced at 11 years, 1 month and 10 days in 1st degree, on 20 September 2021, from the 1st Criminal Section of the Court of Rome.
