Coldiretti Piacenza will be the great protagonist of Tuttofood at the Milan Fair. Tomorrow, Friday 22 October, a bus will leave that will bring together the representatives of the Coldiretti Giovani Impresa and Donne Impresa Piacenza movements to take part in the inaugural day in the Coldiretti space, which will be dedicated to the first Made in Italy innovations arriving on the post Covid tables. It will be possible to touch the inventions destined to revolutionize the diet of Italians, with a decisive turn towards sustainability in the most diverse areas, from the climate to the environment, from health to technology. From the new home DIY kits to the latest superfoods, from hi-tech foods to grandma’s happy hours to health-saving foods, at Tuttofood Coldiretti intends to turn the spotlight on how the world of food is adapting to new food systems by focusing on on product innovation and on the reinterpretation of traditional specialties.
Among the Coldiretti events, the inauguration of the rural street food of Campagna Amica stands out in Corso Italia in front of pavilion 18 where it will be possible to taste the best walking food of the Italian tradition every day. Piacenza will also have an active role in the great international event, thanks to the participation of the peasant cook of Terranostra Rosa Simonelli from the Cà Preda farmhouse (Rizzolo di San Giorgio), engaged in show cooking on Fridays and Saturdays.
In addition, the Piacenza oil from Gropparello’s “Gli Olivi di Giampa” will be present in the exhibition and tasting.
Tomorrow, October 22, 2021 starting from 9 Italy in collaboration with ITA Ice will organize the digital event “CHANGE – Italian agri-food marathon in the post-pandemic world”, a journey through the most important markets for Made in Italy, with interventions of entrepreneurs, producers, young farmers, exporters and opinion leaders, broadcast in streaming on the digital platforms of Filiera Italia (website www.filieraitalia.it and youtube channel – Filiera Italia). Finally, on Monday 25 October at 3 pm in the meeting space of pavilion 14, Coldiretti and Filiera Italia will organize the meeting “The agri-food chain, a driving force for the restart of the country” with the introduction of the Secretary General of Coldiretti Enzo Gesmundo, Luigi Scordamaglia, Chief Executive Officer of the Italian Supply Chain, Luca Palermo, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Fiera Milano, Stefano Patuanelli, Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and the final speech by Ettore Prandini, National President of Coldiretti. For the occasion, Coldiretti Piacenza will still be present with its members, who will reach the Lombard capital with a bus organized by the Federation.
