A recent leak from Starfield, dating back to September, has re-emerged in this hours after the publication of the new official trailer dedicated to the game. Some of the information discovered for the first time through the trailer confirms some of the details presented by the leak, which has therefore regained “validity”.
The leak had reported among the various details the fact that the game would have taken place in the 20s of the 2300 century. The year confirmed by Bethesda is about the 2330, so the leak came close, especially if it referred to the conflict that is the background at the beginning of the game and which will take place in the 1920s. Furthermore, the leak stated that in the game there is a religious faction, a cult in practice, which believes that Jesus / God came from outer space. Bethesda has confirmed that one of the factions is a religious cult.
Obviously there are two details, which certainly can’t make the leak completely credible, but they certainly make it more interesting. Precisely, the leak states that Starfield will have planets as large as Skyrim: there are even dozens of planets. The game maps should therefore be many and huge. There will also be a settlement system similar to Fallout 4, but improved.
In Starfield, according to the leak, every game will not start in the same place but will appear on a different planet or different space stations depending on a number of factors. A series of improvements are then presented, such as the use of a new technology for rendering, a new system of animations, lighting and so on.
As always, we remember that we are talking about a leak, so it is better to consider this information as anything but confirmed. We will have to see if future communications of the team di Starfield will confirm the details indicated.
We also know that Starfield will have 150,000 lines of dialogue. Perhaps too many, the quality can suffer for developers.
