CASALMORANO – The plastic pipes produced in Casalmorano, at Castello Italia, fly beyond the Alps. The historic Italian company, specialized in the extrusion of polyamide and polyurethane products for the automotive sector and industrial automation, has become French. The ARaymond group took over the majority package, which belongs to the Raymond family, world leader in special fittings and various components for the automotive sector. The Arcadia fund sold the shares, which in three years of management has allowed Castello to increase the number of employees by about 70 percent (now they are seventy, plus twenty temporary workers) and to bring revenues from 17 , 6 million euros (2017) to the current 30 million.

“We have defined a precise industrial plan – explains the managing director of Castello Italia, Pierluigi Testa – and despite the pandemic we have managed to achieve the objectives set. Together with Arcadia we have worked with long-term vision, speed and industrial consistency. And I thank the fund for selling us to the ARaymond group, the best subject with which to continue our story. For us it is an extraordinary opportunity and this is a historic day, which will change our future: when it is possible to develop an effective system of collaboration based on common values, then the objectives also become common ».
