Covid in Campania, today 1,334 positive and 35 deaths: the contagion index rises to 13.43% (like every Monday)
The new positives drop but (like every Monday, now) the Coronavirus infection curve in Campania is growing: today the virus records 1,334 positives out of 9,934 molecular swabs examined, 366 fewer than yesterday with 7,607 fewer processed swabs. As a percentage, it means that 13.43% of the tests are positive, four percentage points higher than yesterday when the contagion index was at 9.69%. Of all these newly infected, 811 are asymptomatic and 523 have symptoms in a bulletin which, however, does not take into account the cases identified with rapid antigen tests.

Overall, the number of victims rises to 5,987 with the 35 deaths recorded yesterday, even if the crisis unit is quick to specify that “these are previously deceased”. The number of hospital admissions is also growing: 1,536 hospitalized with symptoms, seven more than yesterday, and 150 patients in intensive care, one more than yesterday. Fortunately, the number of patients cured is also growing, from 272,042 to 273,561 with 1,519 negativized in 24 hours. And after five consecutive days with a negative balance the number of healed is again higher than the number of newly infected.
