Safe Movida Operation in the Spanish Quarters. During the day tourists and residents crowd the streets, in the evening and when hundreds of young people gather in front of the clubs. The carabinieri identified 120 people, 52 controlled vehicles running and parked.
It is precisely on the “wild” stop that the military has focused their attention. 34 scooters and motorbikes were seized and loaded onto the tow truck because they were parked without any criteria in the alleys of the neighborhoods, all without insurance coverage. Some were positioned in front of the doors of some condominiums, making it difficult for residents to enter.
The military then removed stakes, chains and concrete blocks illegally positioned in front of some commercial activities. There was no lack of complaints.
A 30-year-old with a clean record of the place was denounced for resistance and outrage: he was driving along vico Canale in Taverna Penta when the carabinieri stopped and checked him. He refused to give his personal details and then insulted the military.
A 45-year-old under special surveillance was found outside his home, despite the measure requiring him to stay at home. A criminal complaint for him too. A 19-year-old under house arrest was reported to the judicial authorities because he was hosting people outside the family without any authorization at home.
And two more illegal parking attendants, both already recipients of the measure of the prohibition of access to the urban center of Naples. An important balance sheet in which 4 people between 20 and 30 years of age must also be considered, reported to the Prefecture for drug use. The checks will continue in the next few days as well.
