Situation out of control al Port of Trieste, where “several companies are allegedly violating the legislation on the obligation to possess and exhibit” of the Green pass to work. To reveal it is the Workers’ Committee port of Trieste. The port since yesterday, Friday 15 October, the day of the entry into force of the mandatory Green pass on workplaces, has become the epicenter of the protest No Green pass all over Italy.

The trade unionist Stefano Ciccio Puzzer has announced an all-out lockdown, in the belief that it will persuade the government to abolish the Green pass considered “discriminatory” for workers. The promises of the president of the Port Authority of Trieste were useless, Zeno D’Agostino, from pay for tampons to allow dockers no vax to continue to work and receive the salary. The No Green pass component went straight, refusing the offer. The first day of protests, however, was a half flop: alone 150 workers out of a total of 1,500 people signed up. Fortunately, despite the palpable tension, there was no accident.

Now, the complaint of the Committee with a note, sent to the Prefecture, the Police Headquarters, the local health authority, the Port Authority and the Labor Inspectorate: the workers ask to verify the validity of what is claimed, possibly inviting “to apply the measures provided for by the rules”.
