In a note, the commissioner underlines that the number of vaccinated with at least one dose currently amounts to about 46 million, equal to 85.26% of the vaccinable audience (those over 12), while they have completed the immunization cycle 43.64 millions of people, equal to approximately 81% of the audience.
The total number of administrations, according to this morning’s update, exceeded 87 million and is “well above the EU average”.
Italy, “is well above the EU average, ahead of France and Germany in terms of the number of total administrations and vaccinations in proportion to the population”, specifies the structure of Commissioner Francesco Figliuolo. According to the weekly vaccines report published today, the percentages of first doses / single doses by age group are respectively equal to: 70.47% in the 12-19 age group; 86.15% between 20 and 29 years; 81.14% among young people aged between 30 and 39; 81.69% in the 40-49 age group; 85.91% between 50 and 59 years; 89.27% in the 60-69 age group; 92.13% between 70 and 79 years old and 95.08% among the over 80s.
