No Italian region is in red and half are in green (the others in orange) in the new map of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) which traces the spread of Covid in Europe. The last time Italy was only in orange and green was on July 22nd. In detail, all of Northern Italy, with the exception of Veneto, Emilia Romagna and the province of Bolzano, is in green.
In Italy, but also in France and Spain, the areas with a low incidence of new infections are increasingly numerous. All of Germany remains in red. The regions where the situation is more serious, on the other hand, are found in Slovenia, Romania, the southern part of Bulgaria and the Baltic republics. Romania and Bulgaria are the EU countries with the lowest vaccination rates.
