Rome, “gathered” in the shop in defiance of Covid legislation: the fine is triggered and the business is closed

Rome – Yesterday afternoon, the Carabinieri of the Roma Piazza Dante station proceeded to control of commercial and money transfer activities in the Esquilino area.

In a shop near via di San Vito, the Carabinieri found the simultaneous presence of 7 people, compared to the limited internal space available, under which access was allowed for 2 people at a time, in violation of the current provisions relating to the anti-Covid-19 distancing.

The Carabinieri have sanctioned the holder for the amount of 280 euros and ordered the closure of the business for 3 days. Another fine of 180 euros was also high for failure to display the sales license.
