After Tesla Tequila in the lightning-shaped bottle, now it’s time for Gigabier, Tesla’s beer. It is the latest gimmick of the visionary entrepreneur Elon Musk which, on the occasion of the presentation of his Gigafactory, the European factory that will produce Tesla electric vehicles, has unveiled ‘Gigabier’, the beer linked to the initiative. Obviously, it will have a bottle with a particular design: in fact it will be inspired by the Cybertruck, the futuristic pick-up that will be built in Germany from 2022. At the moment, not many details are known about the project and neither the price at which it will be sold: what is certain is that the Gigabier will be made in the home of beer, even if it is not known whether it will also be sold on the foreign market.
Musk was discussing some of Tesla’s plans to make life easier and more fun for employees at Gigafactory Berlin, which is expected to employ up to 10,000 people, when he unveiled the beer project. In addition to this, he discussed the possibility of build an internal displacement system, a sort of station to help commuters, who will move en masse to the factory on the outskirts of Berlin. In addition, Tesla will customize the walls of the various garages, ‘to make them less boring through gods murals’ Musk explained. It is not the first time that the CEO flirts with the world of ‘food and beverage’.
Last November, the eclectic entrepreneur had put up the Tesla Tequila, which sold out quickly and sold out in a few hours, at price of $ 250 per bottle: even in that case, the container had aroused more interest than the content, thanks to the particular lightning bolt shape in hand-blown glass. Other car manufacturers, such as Volkswagen, have dedicated themselves to the in the past production of food for its employees. The German produced a particular frankfurter, which is now marketed in eleven countries around the world.
