(Adnkronos) – Massimo Gianolli, president and CEO of La Collina dei Ciliegi, underlined that “there is a common thread that connects the city of Milan to Verona, also through the history of the Duomo, built thanks to the dialogue between Veronese structuralists and Milanese who, at the time of the design of the Milan Cathedral, together solved the technical problems regarding the stability of the internal pillars. It is the same bond that unites my family and our companies, to these places, since 1925 in an eternal journey of love and enterprise, between Milan and Verona ”.
The bottle, with a label signed by the wine designer Mario di Paolo, will be on sale in the next few days in the stores of the Milanese cathedral, at the Rinascente Milano and in the e-shops duomoshop.com and lacollinadeiciliegi.it. It will also be the Wine of the Month for October at the Maio Restaurant on the Rinascente Milano terrace, and at the Sheraton Milan Malpensa Airport Hotel. Each bottle sold will help support the restoration of the Milan Cathedral.
And with the support of Generalfinance, which has joined the fundraising initiative of the Veneranda Fabbrica ‘Adopt a Statue’, the Collina dei Ciliegi has been hosting a statue of the Duomo since September, that of the Giant 29. The initiative aims to enhance some statues of the Milan Cathedral which, for conservation reasons, can no longer be left in place on the cathedral and for this reason are deposited at the Cantiere Marmisti, the laboratory of the Veneranda Fabbrica on the outskirts of the city.
