In the last 24 hours in Italy, 2,278 positive cases of coronavirus and 27 deaths due to COVID-19 have been detected. Currently the hospitalized are 3,015 (44 less than yesterday), of which 364 in the intensive care wards (3 less than yesterday) and 2,651 in the other wards (41 less than yesterday). 79,561 molecular swabs and 190,483 rapid antigenic tests were analyzed. The percentage of positive molecular swabs was 2.66 percent, while that of antigen tests was 0.08 percent. On Saturday, 2,747 infections were recorded and 46 died.
The regions that have recorded more cases in the last 24 hours are Lombardy (278), Sicily (250), Campania (245), Emilia-Romagna (239), Veneto (224).
