With a couple of weeks late, but theautumn has arrived and is making itself felt throughout the Italian territory with a strong wave of bad weather. If strong overturns occurred almost everywhere between Monday and Tuesday, with a particularly critical situation in Liguria and Piedmont – where there were numerous flooding of rivers and streams – during the week there will be a dangerous cyclonic vortex also in the South.
The forecasts say that, starting from Thursday, there will be a deterioration on the whole peninsula: in particular there is talk of flood risk in parts of the North and the Adriatic regions, even with possible snowfalls at low altitudes. According to what reported by 3BMeteo, until tomorrow the disturbance will be concentrated almost exclusively on the Center-North. From Thursday, however, the cold winds of Bora, Grecale and Tramontana will also come into play which will result in the formation of a low pressure vortex that will move further and further south.
So initially it will be mainly the lower Veneto and Emilia Romagna that will have to deal with storms and possible floods, then it will be the turn of the central-southern Adriatic regions and finally it will be the turn of Puglia and Campania. A thermal collapse is also expected in all regions and in particular in those of the North, where it will also drop below 8 degrees during the night.
