In the Municipalities of Rome the center-right is ahead 9 to 5. And it will be everywhere ballot. A situation that certifies both the collapse of the Cinquestelle and the bad governance of Virginia Raggi.
In fact, five years ago, in 2016, Rome had surrendered to the pentastellati in 12 Municipalities and only two, that of Parioli and that of the historic center, ended up in the hands of the center-left. Therefore, the political geography of the capital changes, where the Grillina hegemony wanes and the most voted list, at 20%, is that of Carlo Calenda.
In the center-left, the Democratic Party already feels the winner but looking at the figures Enrico Letta has little to celebrate. 16.38% places the party below the performance of 2016 when the dem in support of Giachetti broke through 17%. Civica Gualtieri did well, at 5.40%. The lists on the left are bad: Roma Futura stops at 1.98%, while the Left Civic Ecologist breaks through by a small share 1. Evil Verdi and the Socialist Party, Demos stops below 1%.
To the right Fratelli d’Italia gets 17.4 and celebrates winning the first place in the coalition. The league is bad, stopping below 6 (5.93%). In 2019 the League was over 25%. Forza Italia confirms its decline and stops at 3.59, above the Michetti list at 2.47%.
the center-right candidate Enrico Michetti appears the most voted in 9 municipalities out of 15, the center-left candidate is ahead in five municipalities, gathering more preferences especially in the central ones, while in the second municipality the most voted is Carlo Calenda, although he was excluded from the ballot .
The situation of the votes for candidates Michetti and Gualtieri sees the first one in the lead in 9 municipalities out of 15. In the first town hall, in the historic center, Gualtieri gets more votes, followed by Calenda, Michetti and Raggi more detached, which is just over 10%. In the second town hall, on the other hand, the most voted mayoral candidate, from the still provisional data, is Carlo Calenda who leads Gualtieri by almost eight points, followed by Michetti and Raggi. Almost head to head in Town Hall III for the two challengers in the ballot.
Michetti has an advantage in the suburbs: the IV municipality, where Rebibbia, San Basilio and Tiburtino fall, the V city hall, where Centocelle and Torpignattara fall, among other things, the VI municipality, which has in the territory among other things Torre Angela and Torre Maura, town hall IX, town hall X of Ostia, town halls XI, XIII, XIV and XV.
Gualtieri, on the other hand, is ahead in five municipalities, in addition to the I, III, VII, VIII and XII. Calenda, excluded from the ballot, is instead the most voted in the II municipality (Parioli) where, in counting still in progress, it obtains 36.06%, detaching some points from Gualtieri, at 28.42%, Michetti at 23.8% and Raggi all 8.78%. The outgoing mayor Virginia Raggi did better than Gualtieri in the VI and X municipalities of Ostia, where she is the most voted after Michetti.
