Elections Calabria, the center-right candidate Roberto Occhiuto is the new president: he was elected with 54.46% of the votes. The challenger, supported by the Pd and M5s among the other lists, Amalia Cecilia Bruni stopped at 27.68%. From the final data of the Interior Ministry Luigi de Magistris, supported by six lists, he obtained 16.17% while the former governor Mario Oliverio with his list totaled 1.70%.

According to the final data of the Interior Ministry, the center-right majority in support of Occhiuto gets 20 seats in the regional council (seven Forza Italia, four Fdi, four Lega Salvini, two Forza Azzurri, two Coraggio Italia, 1 Union of the center). The challenger Bruni is elected councilor and her majority gets seven seats: five for the Democratic Party, two for the 5-star Movement. Two seats instead go to the De Magistris president list.

Not even a seat goes to the ‘Another Calabria possible’ list of former Riace mayor Mimmo Lucano: the list obtained 18,235 votes, 2.3%, but remains below the threshold. Lucano therefore will not enter the regional council.
