Today a new inspection by the prosecutors in the municipality of San Donato while in the morning a summit was held between investigators and investigators

The tourist plane, which crashed yesterday in the municipality of San Donato Milanese, on the outskirts of the capital of Lomabrado, was already in flames before the impact. We will have to wait for the analysis of the black box to clarify the causes of the disaster. Today a new inspection by the prosecutors on the site of the disaster, while in the morning a summit was held between investigators and investigators. Among the next steps of the investigation, the acquisition of the recordings of communications with the Linate radar room from the Milan prosecutor’s office for culpable disaster. After the departure the tourist plane, bound for Sardinia, was veering to the right in a way not foreseen by the route, when the pilot, the 68-year-old Dan Petrescu, asked to return to the airport. This is what has been learned today about the crash into a building undergoing renovation. In addition to the pilot, seven other people, including a newborn, lost their lives in the accident.

What happened after the departure

Yesterday, three minutes after take-off, exactly at 13.04, the tourist plane that was supposed to reach 5 thousand feet after take off was at a height of 3500-4000 feet. First anomaly. Then the aircraft, bound for Olbia, veered persistently to the right. Second anomaly. The planes departing from Linate, in fact, all proceed north and then initially veer to the right, but only for a while and then head south. The radar room, noticing the anomaly, contacted the pilot immediately. “Little deviation” said the latter, without giving further explanation. Subsequently, however, we speak of seconds, the pilot asked what in technical jargon is called a “vector”, that is a space and coordinates to re-enter the airport. The rest is known history. There was no time to give the alarm, because the plane crashed vertically into a building, in which fortunately there was none. Less than a minute after the last words spoken by the pilot, the aircraft went off the radar. The National Agency for Flight Safety, after the accident, has opened an investigation which will also be attended by investigators from Romania, Switzerland and Canada, namely the countries of registration and construction of the aircraft and of engine construction.
