The ‘Star Trek’ captain Kirk, actor William Shatner, is ready to fly into space with Blue Origin. Shatner will be launched on October 12 aboard the New Shepard NS-18 and will fly with Blue Origin’s Vice President of Mission & Flight Operations, Audrey Powers. Blue Origin has announced that crewmates Chris Boshuizen and Glen de Vries will join the flight with Shatner and Power. This flight follows Blue Origin’s first successful human flight which took place on July 20 and featured Blue Orgin owner Jeff Bezos alongside Mark Bezos., to aviation pioneer Wally Funk and Blue Origin’s first customer, Oliver Daemen.
