The Covid positives admitted to the Maggiore hospital in Novara are back to grow. Today Thursday 30 September there are nine: 3 in the sub-intensive ward, 5 in infectious diseases and one in obstetrics. It is worth remembering that just a week ago – for the first time in many months – the Novara hospital was Covid free, an absence of patients positive for the virus which, however, lasted only 24 hours.
On the other hand, the number of hospitalized at the Santissima Trinità di Borgomanero remains stable, there are 3: two in intensive care, one in sub-intensive care, where a patient was also discharged.
Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region communicated 207 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 63 after antigen tests), equal to 0.9% of 23,457 swabs performed, of which 17,433 antigenic. Of the 207 new cases, 101 (48.8%) were asymptomatic.
The cases are divided as follows: 66 screenings, 108 case contacts, 33 with ongoing investigation.
There are 21 hospitalized in intensive care (- 1 compared to yesterday). Patients not in intensive care are 184 (+ 1 compared to yesterday). There are 3,442 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 7,105,517 (+23,457 compared to yesterday), of which 2,177,042 tested negative.
No deaths of a positive person in the Covid-19 test were communicated by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region. 173 more patients are cured than yesterday.
