The new CF MOTO 700 CL-X she has just arrived in Italy; we presented it to you a few days ago. Now the time has come to get our hands on it, which we do with our “One month with” format, an endurance test in which we test the bike in different contexts to verify its strengths and any defects in the scenarios of use more suited to each model.
Let’s start by saying that the CL-X Heritage immediately exceeds expectations, with a very high level of finish and certainly above the average for the segment, moving away from the stereotype of Chinese products. The line, of course, is not very original – the references to European models are evident – but wherever you look or hands you can see quality components. AND the voice to the exhaust, despite being a parallel twin, is full and gritty thanks to an irregular timing that also makes it nice full of torque at mid-range.
In the city, agility and ease are appreciated: slipping through traffic safely and without hindrance. The engine is good, especially with the Sport map, and the chassis and tires are also good. The electronic management is not bad at all, there is only some slight delay in the action compared to the most recent and sophisticated proposals.
But such a motorcycle was not born to go around town only, so go, towards the motorway and more … free and appropriate environments.
