From 10 am on Tuesday 28 September, dealers will be able to access the platform ecobonus.mise.gov.it to enter reservations for incentives for the purchase of M1 category vehicles (basically cars) used with low emissions. For the new incentive, 40 million euros are made available by the Sostegni-bis decree for the purchase of a used vehicle of a class of not less than 6 euros, with a price resulting from average market prices not exceeding 25,000 euros and with emissions between 0-160 g / km CO2.
The size of the incentive
The contributions, which can reach up to 2 thousand euros, are linked to the scrapping of a vehicle of the same category and differ according to the emission range of the used vehicle that is purchased: 0-60 g / km of CO2: 2,000 euros; 61-90: 1,000 euros; 91-160: 750 euros The scrapped vehicle must be of the same category as the one purchased, registered for at least 10 years and in the name of the buyer or a family member for at least 12 months.
The role of the dealer
The concessionaire will recognize the contribution to the final purchaser and then recover it as a tax credit, which can only be used as compensation by submitting the F24 form electronically.
The resource node
The law for the conversion of the “support bis” which provided for the incentives has been in force since 25 July. In other words, the benefit can be accessed, within the limit of available resources and in any case by 31 December 2021, for all purchases made from that date. The preparation of the IT platform, renewed for the second-hand category, however, required adaptations and, as mentioned, it will be operational from next Tuesday. It follows the risk of a incentive race, with the booking from the first day of contracts dating back to the end of July, to August and to these first weeks of September. its eventual refinancing.
