Capcom has released a new trailer gameplay from Resident Evil 4 VR, also announcing the official release date: October 21, 2021. You can see the video, shared by IGN USA, above.
The Resident Evil 4 VR trailer is very short, but it still shows us some gameplay scenes. It will be a first-person game. The movie shows us Leon that handles and reloads various firearms and that interacts with some puzzles. It will probably be a particular and new way to (re) experience a classic.
It will be interesting to see if Resident Evil 4 VR will be able to broadcast the same sensations of the original game or if the change of platform will lead to the birth of a completely new videogame experience. There is nothing left to do but wait for the game to be published and available to try.
Resident Evil 4 VR will be released on Oculus Quest 2 exclusively and, as mentioned, the release date is October 21, 2021. It was developed by Armature, a Texan team that worked on Where the Heart Leads, Ark: Genesis Part 1 and Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle (citing only the more recent works).
