Turro divided. And between the two worlds it is a challenge with events and menus

The “opposite poles” of Turro are separated by 700 meters. Between via Rovigno and via Jean Jaurès, in the Milan that overlooks the Martesana, there are two clubs that split the district for ideology, style and … cuisine. On the one hand, more sheltered from the canal is the Bocciofila Martesana, a little further on the East River. Two circles in which the electoral battle for the administrative elections is taking place. After hosting the rallies of those who run for the Zone Council, the two big names, Luca Bernardo and Beppe Sala, arrived a few days ago. The answer is ready: “In Bocciofila there is Bernardo, for those who want to participate I tell you time and info”. But there is no shortage of hot comments: “Those fools in the dance hall are hosting Paragone,” thunders an East River fan. And there are those who retort a timid: «We are in the middle of two fires». In fact, a heated derby is being played between via Rovigno and via Jean Jaurès for the Milan to come. All seasoned with diametrically opposed kitchens. In Bocciofila, those who listen to the center-right candidates can enjoy traditional Sicilian dishes, including arancine and pasta alla norma with a good glass of red or white. Those who sit down at the East River to listen to the center-left candidates can enjoy salads, carrot hummus and vegetarian dishes accompanied by natural detox tea or lemonade. In short, in the parts of Turro these days of countryside are lived as in a small Berlin: to divide the two political souls of the district only a former factory for the processing of silver. An ideal border on which the war of voting with text messages is consummated. And menu …
