With 304 positives out of 54,810 swabs performed in Lombardy, the positivity rate stands at 0.5%, for what is now valid in determining the impact of Coronavirus. There is a slight decrease in hospitalizations: there are 61 in intensive care (three more than yesterday) but 379 in the other wards, therefore 22 fewer. Instead, there are ten deaths that bring the total from the beginning of the pandemic to 34,022.
As regards the provinces, 110 cases were reported in Milan, 35 in Brescia, 31 in Monza, 27 in Como, 21 in Bergamo, 14 in Pavia, 12 in Cremona, 11 in Lodi, 9 in Lecco, 7 in Varese and Mantua and 5 in Sondrio.
It should be noted on the night between Saturday and Sunday that the controls of the Food Service Unit of the Milan local police led to the closure for 5 days, due to failure to comply with Covid regulations, of two places: the private Bana Club in via Pestagalli and the nightclub. Tocqueville. The first intervention, on the initiative, took place at one in the morning: inside the Bana Club there were about 80 people, of which 25 were dancing without distancing or masks.
The second intervention, again on the initiative of the Milanese local police, took place at 2:40 in via Tocqueville: inside the disco there were over 280 people who danced without distancing or masks with very loud music. As is known, discos cannot open yet. The premises can welcome customers and play music but without giving permission to dance.
Controversy also over the gathering of about a thousand young people who participated in an open-air party on Saturday evening in front of the Leonardo high school in Milan, in via Corridoni next to one of the university residences of the Polytechnic. Not only students of Leonardo, but also of other schools and of all ages. Unauthorized party but advertised via social media and above all by word of mouth with a lot of music and even alcohol, so much so that it was necessary to call 118 for two drunk fifteen-year-old girls.
The ambulance arrived with difficulty because of the “crowd”. One of the girls refused transport, and was accompanied home by her father who arrived to pick her up. The other, who had fallen and hit her head, was taken for a check-up at the De Marchi clinic. The tam tam of the boys also speaks of a beating (for which, however, neither rescuers nor police forces were alerted).
No problem, however, at the Berchet high school party, which took place, as per tradition even pre-Covid, at the Ravizza park.
