There are 422 new cases of Coronavirus registered in Sicily in the last 24 hours on 10,771 processed swabs, with a positive rate of 3.9%. The island returns to Italy first in terms of number of infections, which are still decreasing compared to recent weeks. Three other victims of the virus while the healed are 683. The incidence per 100 thousand inhabitants falls further and is now equal to 70. The current positives drop to 17.003.

The situation in hospitals is almost stable: 534 hospitalized in the Covid medical area, 3 more than yesterday; 73 beds are occupied in intensive care (-4 compared to the last bulletin), in the last 24 hours there has been no new entry into intensive care. Hospital occupancy rates remain below the yellow zone threshold. This is the subdivision by province of the new cases: Catania 140, Siracusa 73, Palermo 68, Trapani 48, Ragusa 37, Messina 24, Caltanissetta 17, Agrigento 10, Enna 5.

Today 3,099 new Covid cases have been registered in Italy, down from yesterday when they stood at 3,525. Deaths are also down: 44 instead of 50 the day before. The positivity rate also dropped: with 276,221 tampons it stood at 1.1% compared to 1.5% last Sunday. Total deaths 130,697, total cases 4,660,314. The current positives 102.244, -330. The healed 4,427,373, +3,385. There are 3,435 hospitalized patients with symptoms, 62 fewer; of which 483 (+2) in intensive care, 22 admissions of the day.
