The military seized explanatory brochures of tours and tourist packages and fake identification badges and sanctioned them for a total of 1,600 euros. An order to expel them from the Unesco area and a ban on access for the next 48 hours was also adopted.
The verifications by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Rome also concerned the shopping streets and the areas of commercial interest. Three people ended up in handcuffs for aggravated theft. The soldiers of the Roma Eur station arrested two Romanians, a 23-year-old and a 25-year-old, who were surprised in a shop in the shopping center in via Laurentina while they concealed several clothing, after having removed the anti-theft plates. The Carabinieri, alerted by the security staff, intervened by blocking the couple and recovering the stolen goods. Those arrested were placed under house arrest. Inside the Forum Termini gallery, on the other hand, the Carabinieri of the Roma Scalo Termini unit have a 35-year-old Peruvian, homeless, is blocked surprised while taking away different merchandise from the exhibitors of a store.
