ROMA. With the Green pass obbligatorio in the workplace from October 15th to December 31st, things get complicated for no vax.
The workers, both in the public and in the private sector, without a green certificate will not be suspended but will be considered “unjustified absent until the presentation of the certification, without disciplinary consequences and with the right to retain the employment relationship”. But from the first day of absence they will no longer receive “salary or other remuneration or emolument”. In practice, those who are not vaccinated keep their jobs but do not take the salary.
The employee caught in the workplace without a pass will be fined between 600 and 1,500 euros. On the other hand, those who do not go to work without a Green pass are considered unjustified absent and will have their salary suspended from the first day of absence.
The tampons will be free for those who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons. For all the others, the rapid antigenic swabs will have a controlled price in the pharmacies that have adhered to the memorandum of understanding.
