Also Enrico Letta is committed to supporting its candidates for the next local elections, scheduled for 3 and 4 October. The secretary of the Democratic Party is spending himself on an electoral tour in the country and in the past few hours he made a stop in Trieste, where, however, he was interrupted by a demonstrator no vax who, once she managed to break through the security cordon, took the stage to challenge Enrico Letta and the vaccination campaign linked to the Green pass. The city of Trieste is one of the most active on the no vax front, as evidenced by the massive presence of adherents to the demonstrations that are organized to protest against the government.
From the stage in Piazza della Borsa, Enrico Letta was addressing the group of people who had arrived to listen to him, when at a certain point the demonstrator arrived at his side without any of the men in charge of surveillance being able to stop her. “The vaccine is it truth or freedom? Answer me“, said the woman once she reached Letta, with whom she sought a face-to-face confrontation in front of the audience, pressing him on a statement he made a few days earlier from the stage in Bologna.”The vaccine is freedom“, replied the secretary of the Democratic Party, evidently embarrassed and displaced by that scene. Therefore, Enrico Letta was keen to emphasize to the woman that the vaccine is free but she, intending to continue her confrontation with the dem secretary, has replicated: “I i tampons I have to pay them to go to work. The vaccine is state blackmail“.
Enrico Letta, while the security men were organizing to get the lady off the stage, tried to moderate the tone: “Don’t say these things, it’s not like that“. Only at that point the Digos was able to remove the lady, who was taken to a secluded place for the ritual identification procedures. Enrico Letta, once calm was restored on stage, commented:”Unfortunately, all this is the result of a great ambiguity of an irresponsible policy. On the one hand there is us who have said clear words from the beginning, on the other hand there is irresponsibility“. Enrico Letta, without ever mentioning him, has returned to the attack of Matteo Salvini and replied his accusations a few hours later during half past eight: “Today it is defined as free vax but there is no free vax: those who define themselves in this way are no vax and are very serious“.
