THE INTERVIEW WITH FEDERICO LOBUONO
He is twenty years old and has already challenged the ‘Big’ of politics when a few months ago he was a candidate for mayor of Rome with a list completely under 25. The young Rome is his political-cultural association born after various non-partisan experiences such as, for example, that of community ‘Pischelli on the way ‘. Today, having met Roberto Gualtieri, is a candidate on his civic list with the aim of becoming a spokesperson for youth policies.
FEDERICO LOBUONO AND HIS COMMITMENT TO YOUTH POLICIES
“Even my generation can make a contribution to our city – Federico explained to the microphones of Dire Giovani – The city cannot be transformed without those who will experience the city tomorrow “.
The topic that the 20-year-old candidate has most at heart is space recovery. The proposal to counter abandonment and decay is to give the opportunity for young people and associations to redevelop these spaces with a free loan. Then there is the challenge of right to housing, the housing emergency is another point on which Federico Lobuono intends to work and makes his idea of a ‘Roma Capitale Youth Council’.
“The target – Lobuono says – is to bring the school representatives of all the schools, democratically elected girls and boys, once or twice a month within the city council, making them meet the mayor and maybe some councilors and making sure that my generation is no longer the one that only proposes but also the generation that decides “. Federico dreams of a city where Romans do not have to take the car, which is why among his priorities there is also the commitment to efficient public transport.
