I am 4,061 new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday there were 3,970, here the bulletin). It goes up like this at least 4.649.906 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 63 (yesterday there were 67), counting 5 previous deaths in Lazio * and 5 in Sicily **, for a total of 130,551 victims from February 2020. People recovered or discharged they are altogether 4.414.272 e 5.466 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (6,850 yesterday). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 105.083, equal to -1.476 compared to yesterday (-2.954 the day before).
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 321.554, or 28,682 more than yesterday when it was 292,872. While the positive rate unchanged at 1.3

More infections in 24 hours than yesterday. The curve follows its usual ups and downs, peaking in the middle of the week and then moving downwards at the weekend. But the always downward trend slowly (so from the beginning of the month) and you can see it from the comparison with last Thursday (16 September) – the same day of the week – when they were recorded +5,117 almost with a positive rate of 1.7%: in fact today there are fewer new people infected than that day, with a lower case-to-test ratio (1.3% versus 1.7%).
The improvement of the scenario, with a double-digit decline in infections, highlighted by the independent monitoring of the Gimbe Foundation on a weekly basis (15-21 September): -14.9% in new cases compared to the week before, -5.5% in hospitalizations and -6.9% in intensive care, while deaths stable.

The lowest data are always from Molise (+5 cases with 306 swabs) and Valle d’Aosta (+6 cases with 951 swabs).
There are 63 victims in the bulletin, four less than yesterday. The count includes 10 previous deaths, five from Lazio * and five from Sicily **. The highest number of deaths in these two regions: in Sicily 15 people lost their lives, of which 10 in the last 48 hours and 5 in the period between 20 September and 25 August as indicated in the note ** and in Lazio 12 people lost their lives, of which 5 referring to the month of August *. To have zero bereavement are six regions to which are added the provinces of Trento and Bolzano: these are Piedmont, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Basilicata, Molise and Valle d’Aosta.
The health system
Hospital stays in the medical area and in resuscitation are still decreasing. The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I’m -146 (yesterday -141), for a total of 3,650 hospitalized. The beds occupied in intensive care (TI) are -8 – this is the balance between the people who left and those who entered ICU – (yesterday -7), bringing the total of the most seriously ill patients to 505, with 30 admissions to resuscitation (yesterday 40).
The vaccine doses administered are over 83,1 millions. Citizens who have received the second dose are over 41,5 millions (76,86% of the population over 12). 44.5 million people (82.48% of vaccinables) received a single dose, while 19,292 received the additional dose.
