The eighth edition of the national beauty contest Venere d’Italia, managed by the patron Pietro Cortese, professional photographer, ended on Saturday 11 September in the middle of the Sorrento peninsula, with the collaboration of many professionals from the world of fashion and entertainment, including which the director of Obsession Magazine, Ciro Montemiglio (former director of Playboy Italy).
The winner of this edition is from Puglia: it is Selvaggia Lopalco, 15 years old from Taranto who received the crown made by the goldsmith master Gerardo Sacco. But there was no lack of titles for Sicily and Syracuse. The girls led by the Sicilian leader and agent Donatella Accolla, in fact, have conquered two national bands. The two Syracusan “queens” are Giulia Ranieri, elected “Venere Tv 2021”, sixth classified, and Annalisa Filincieri, who finished sixteenth and was awarded the title of “Venere Simpatia”.
The two very young women triumphed among 55 finalists, representing Sicily and the province of Arezzo together with the other traveling companions: Mariagiorgia Accolla, Maria Gattuso, Virginia Ruggiero, Eleonora Cantarella and Alessandra Giustolisi.
