How many passengers will be passing through the Ridolfi at the end of the year? What are your predictions?

“The summer season has had a fair amount of movement, but with aircraft filling percentages typical of this pandemic. In September and October the flights will be further reduced, so we will restart with significant traffic flows in November and December. a number, which in any case, given the situation, should not be taken as a reference. Our objectives are others. I add that the Ridolfi was reopened after 8 years of closure and it did so in the middle of the pandemic. The results, in short, must be contextualized “.

How many workers are there at the airport?

“In the summer months, without the management, there were 40. Then, given the reduction in flights, about 20 contracts of very valid people were not renewed, which we hope to have back with us soon. However, the activity will drop further in these months, so it is possible that the workforce will have to be reduced again. In other words: an airport needs a number of workers directly proportional to the planes that fly. I add: FA is a company of private entrepreneurs who have put their own funds in the airport. received no public funding “.

What are the routes that fared best in the summer?

“Sicily is the one that has given us the most satisfaction. Sardinia has not gone badly. International destinations are those that have suffered the most. As in all or almost all Italian airports, the traffic was mainly domestic”.
